Rayburn Students Make the Holiday Special for Residents of Local Nursing Home
This past December, Rayburn Elementary Kindergarten teachers posed this question to their students: "How can we help our community?" Together they decided to visit the residents of McAllen Nursing Center to deliver hand-made Holiday pins and sing Christmas carols. Thank you to the Rayburn parents who attended and assisted with this event!

Rayburn Student Wins District Science Fair!
Emilio Mas, a fifth grader at Rayburn Elementary, won the Grand Prize in the annual McAllen ISD Science Fair Dec. 12 at Wilson Elementary.
