Rayburn's Spotlight Message

Ms. Dillard has been an advocate for the arts in elementary education, whether in art, drama, dance, or music. Most recently she invested STEAM budget moneys in a music keyboard lab and curriculum resources for our music department. She went above and beyond to get the resources and the training required for classroom implementation of Music and the Brain curriculum.  Kindergarten through fifth graders are learning songs that teach singing and rhythm, reading notation, and playing music on the keyboard! There is a renewed enthusiasm and interest for music class by parents and students alike. THANK YOU MS. DILLARD!!
